IP Address Lock

On SIP? phones, and ATA?s, the customer can setup IP Address Lock. Since every premise is required to have a static IP address that remains with the premise, this will mean that the phone can be setup to only be valid when dialing from the IP address, or up to 3 IP addresses. If a device or telephony server is using your telephone number from one of the other locations, the Caller ID will show as Possible Scam. If you were to call that same person, but through your recognized addresses, your name and telephone number will show as the caller.

If you live outside of Kaldus, your ISP? is not likely to provide you with a static IP address. Therefore, the lock will not be reliably effective in your case. Instead, artificial intelligence will identify for possible scam calls. If you are guaranteed a static IPv6 address though, you can use Address Lock.
