An ATA? is used with POTS phones since they don’t have an RJ45 jack, nor the ability to enter SIP? credentials. Once the ATA is assigned to the LAN?, the ATA will be able to be configured by going to the ATA’s LAN address. From there, they can log in, and provide their SIP credentials. Once that happens, they can plug in any touch tone phone for use.
